It used to drive me crazy when we where living in Hebei.. But you're such a youngster... When I was kid (I'm 40 now), we had fireworks here in Australia. My favourite were the ones that had little parachute men that would float down. Doesn't get better than that! That said, I can see the sense in banning them because of the number of injuries they cause. I'll be a little worried next time we spend Spring Festival with the in-laws back in China and my kids want to set them off... I know what you mean, although I’m back in Australia these days.
